The colors are richer on my 52" plasma. My wife says the images are noticeably sharper. I would say they are somewhat sharper. You definitely need to change the video settings on the Wii to 480p. You may also want to play with the picture shape if you have an HDTV. I find that very useful. It seems like a fine quality product. I do not regret purchasing it.
