The idea of being able to hold the gun with one hand was a good idea. For the wii controller to fit into the "Perfect Shot" you must remove the wrist strap. At my house, a wrist strap is a must as my son plays in front of our 50 inch. The other problem with this product (I have tried two different guns); the "Perfect Shot" would not detect the nunchuk.
